Joshua and Court Directors

Mission Statement

To foster community service in charitable and benevolent acts to major and local charities; support young people in the attainment of higher education. To provide assistance and or support to widows, orphans, elderly and the less fortunate with humanitarian relief financially and service as providence affords us the opportunity.
We, The Most Ancient Union Grand Court Heroines of Jericho in cohesive efforts to work in peace and harmony in association with the Most Excellent Union Grand Chapter Holy Royal Arch Mason do hereby concur with the following Guidelines practices to be implemented throughout the Jurisdiction effective July 1, 2014.

Guidelines for Joshua and Court Directors
  1. All active, local courts must have a Joshua and Court Directors from a Holy Royal Arch Chapter who is financial in his chapter and lodge. Effective July 1, 2014, all newly elected Joshua and Court Directors shall be Royal Arch masons.
  2. The Joshua and Court Directors do not have to come from the same chapter.
  3. Most Ancient Matrons and High Priest Collaboration:
  4. The Companions are expected to pay the joining fee which entitles them to the Court Benevolent Association from the Grand Court.
  5. The annual fee which is paid by the male member hi the court is $30.00. The breakdown is $10.00 for Grand Court and $20.00 for his Court Benevolent Association Fund (CBA).
  6. The Grand Chapter will make an annual donation to the Grand Court, in the amount of $500.00, to go towards the youth and charity on behalf of the companions.
  7. No registration fees, local dues or local assessments are required from the Joshua while serving the court.
  8. The local court is responsible for paying all the required Grand Court registrations fees of the Joshua.
  9. The Joshua and Court Directors must register with the Grand Chapter whenever the two bodies are meeting together, unless the Joshua and Directors are Master Mason only.
  10. The Joshua and Directors are expected to know their duties and understand their position.
